FAYE MCCLELLAND PARATRIATHLETE

Eastbourne Bike Box Hire are proud to sponsor World Champion paratriathlete Faye McClelland.

Originally from Ruislip, Middlesex, and is a full-time athlete coached by Glenn Cook of Bodyworks XTC in Eastbourne. She is a member of the UK Sport World Class Lottery Funded British Paratriathlon squad for 2013. Faye is aiming to be a contender for the Rio Paralympics 2016.

Faye is the current T4 Paratriathlete World Champion having won gold in Hyde Park in September 2013. This result means Faye has now retained her title as World Champion four years in succession, an amazing achievement. Faye was awarded the Tata Steel British Triathlon Female Paratriathlete of the Year for 2013 and was voted 2012 Paratriathlete of the year by readers of 220 magazine.

Outside of triathlon, Faye has completed her Physiotherapy studies at the University of Brighton and is a qualified Physiotherapist. Faye likes to inspire others to not only take up triathlon but sport in general by giving talks and presentations, encouraging others to fulfil their dreams
